Foil stamping is the application of pigment or metallic foil to paper where a heated die is stamped onto the foil, making it adhere to the surface leaving the design of the die on the paper. Instead of pigment or metallic foil it can also be various patterns or white special film-backed material. Foil stamping can be combined with embossing to create a more striking 3D image. The foil stamp is a permanent process. It is done by businesses that need to brand or mark products. Most of the custom box packaging services now use this technology to emboss logo of their clients in the boxes.
Goldrich Printpak offers you many finishing services like Embossing, Special Die Cutting etc. A custom embossing die can be created to create the impression of your logo, slogan, a featured graphic element etc.
