Do you remember those days when we were kids and it was too cold to go out or raining outside? Well on those days me and my sisters took out a board game and suddenly we weren't so BORED! We played games such as Monopoly, Scrabble and Jenga. Me and my sisters would enjoy a good game to help pass the time and take away the boredom. I remember one day that we were inside playing a board game because of the weather and it wound up being just a quick shower. The rain stopped and the sun came out and we were so into the game that we couldn't care less about going out! Why not get some of those games out and play them with your kids on those kind of days? Get them to get away from the TV every now and then or from texting their friends all day! My girlfriends son is a die-hard Xbox gamer and we actually got him away from his Xbox to play a game of Monopoly with us, which was hard to believe. I really get into a good board game, especially if I hadn't played one in a while. But you know now with all this modern technology it's hard to get everyone to participate, but it's nice, when you do. I don't know there's something about the classic board games to me. I think now when I play them, it reminds me of a time when we didn't have all the other gadgets and how the simplicity of a board game can be so much fun! I currently have three games right know, which are Monopoly (of course everyone had one of these at least once in their lifetime), Aggravation and Battleship. Remember those other two.

I remember those days only too well. We had a game called Around the World and that is how I learnt which countries were where in the world as I hated Geography at school. What about the game Trivial Pursuit - yeah I know you have Quizup online now but its far more fun to have real life people to play against - there's nothing like spending a night with good friends and a good board game -we all need to have more quality time instead of being glued to our phones
