Are there any Xbox Fans out There?
I think that Xbox is a really cool way to play video games. My future stepson has one and he is a die-hard gaming fan! He brings it over to our house along with his 50" or something TV, because our TV isn't big enough for him to play on. I must say it is great playing video games on that size TV! Being that I am old school, I can really see the advancement in gaming technology from when I was a kid. Do you want to know what was close to one of the only games there was when I was growing up and you were the big cheese on the block if you had one? I'll show my age here and some of you old school people like me will remember and you'll be like WOW! The unit was an Atari (I think that was the name of the one I had) and it was just a black screen with two dashes and a dot to play tennis (or was it ping pong). I know some of you will out there remember! And the new generation like my future stepson Phil will just laugh and say that was a video game. At that time, yes it was. I have learned a lot from Phil about the Xbox games over time and home some of his friends go out to the video store at midnight to by the newest game out and actually, you'll be surprised of how many people are out there waiting. I clearly see how the gaming scene is for all ages. Before when I thought of gaming, I used to think that only young kids played them, but now I see the big picture and some of these kids are better than adults. Oh, by the way did I tell you that Phil was 28 years old! He is also super good at playing video games, and then again is my neighbor across the street who is nine. Phil likes a lot military games, such as Black Ops and video games with Zombies. I still can't believe how detailed and realistic the games are. It's also amazing how everyone can play online and talk to each other through headsets, team up with each other and play other people from around the world! This type of technology brings gaming up to a completely different than I could ever imagine seeing. I have two favorite games; one of them is John Madden football. Playing this on a giant sized TV is just like watching a real football game. The players are so detailed, even down to their real life tattoos they have! My second favorite I like is Diablo. Years back I remember playing Diablo 1 on a desktop computer using a mouse for controller. My friend's son had it and I really liked it back then. My stepson Phil has Diablo 2 and I've played that one with him a few times. What a difference between playing the game now compared to playing it back then on a desktop!
