Does massaging your scalp daily really encourage your hair to grow faster?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for making your hair grow faster? I am currently trying to grow out bleached and damaged hair but so far my roots have grown to about 3.5 inches and I am desperate to start dying it again, but resisting until all of the bleach has gone, which at this rate will take about 2 years! Any tips that don't cost a fortune- preferably natural will be appreciated, Thanks x.
