The trick to cut and onion and not cry..

Cut into the center of the bottom of the onion about 1/3 deep.Removing a small section of the onion..dont cut in to far it wont work..Then go ahead and cut your onion tear free..

My mother used to do all that onion cutting inside a plactic bag, then just dump them wherever she wanted thwm.

Or you could wet the onion before cutting it.
