I am not in favor of any type of reservation. Reservation in India is being used by the politicians as a tool to increase their vote bank. It is giving benefit to the politicians only. It is giving losses to the nation. Thus it is not in national interest. I feel that reservation of all type should be abolished. Only merit should be the criteria every where. Many meritorious persons have lagged behind due to the reservation policy in India and many low meritorious persons have been selected on good positions just for the sake of their reservation. They are not able to do justice with their jobs, thus what is the benefit of choosing such low meritorious person who cant do justice with his job.

i agree with ur view that Reservation is being utilised as a tool by politicians to increase their Vote-Bank, but Reservation must be there, for the economically poor people. There are Meritious persons who are not getting proper exposure just because their financial position is not good. Such persons deserve to get upliftment.

I support reservations, but they should only be based on economic considerations. Also, some reservations can be made for rural population. There are many cases where well-to-do people belong to the OBC or SC/ST or any other class, and inspite of having a good environment to study and get into good colleges, youth from this class are found to exploit exactly these reservations. This kind of mindless reservations must stop. Protests against reservation msut go on in full swing.

Yes i completely agree with you. There should be no discrimination such as Hindu or Muslim or a Buddhist. Only the economic position of the person should be considered while giving the reservation and not his caste.

These politicians are making a mockery of the law.They dont want to create new facilities for people.They just want to push aside their faults and act as if they are saviours of the poor.We must hang them all.
