Islam teaches us to love for others what you love or yourself. This is the beauty of Islam!

Every religion teaches us to be humble and love humanity. No religion in this world talks about hatred. Even then people fight in the name of religion. God is one and this fact is not accepted by many in the world.

Thank you for your response, brother/sister.
If people fight in the name of religion, and that fight is not justified, then it would be unwise on our part to judge the religion based on the activities of its followers. If we have to judge a religion's authenticity, we must look at its authentic sources, and not its followers.
Talking about humanity, and the fact that 'every' religion teaches that, I'm afraid I strongly disagree with you on this. It's a very loose idea that floats around in the minds of people today. However, if we take some time out and try to learn the religion we follow, we would be surprised to know that many of its teachings are quite far from the definition of humanity. I can safely say that Islam, on the other hand, not only propagates humanity, but also gives us ways to accomplish them. This is because God is One, and His religion is One, with simple, straight-forward teachings which appeal to human intellect.
I agree with you on the fact that many people have a hard time accepting the Oneness of God. That is due to their lack of understanding, blind following of their culture, blind following of their forefathers, and at times due to the unwillingness to know the Truth.

You do realize you directly misquoted the statement from Muhammad, right? The statement as you said it, is so inclusive: "...for others", and yet the statement in your little heart picture there says "...for his brother". That's a far cry from love for others! Do you know what Jesus said about love for others? He said that even the most evil people in the world love their own. He said genuine love for others even includes love for ones' enemies. How does this square with Islam's claim (at least here in the West) to be a peaceful religion? Seems to me the love for the Jew is a serious abomination to that wonderful Allah. Please, correct me if I am mistaken, but it sure looks like a double standard from here.

Thank you for your response, brother.
Oh, did you realize you I addressed you as brother? Why did I do that? Because every 'other' person is to us like our brother or our sister.
There's no contradiction in my statement and the statement of Prophet Muhammad (May God's peace and blessings be upon him), rather his statement also teaches us (other than loving for others what you love for yourself), to treat others as our brothers/sisters, regardless of their religion.
Honestly, I can reply to your comment (an assumption, maybe?) on 'loving a Jew being an abomination in the Sight of Allah', but really, I first need to know how much of Islam do you actually know. If you are genuinely looking for an answer, I can guide you.
Brother, just as I would not judge a religion based on the wrong actions of its followers, I would request you to do the same. The best way to know a religion is to go its sources - which in the case of Islam are the Quran and the authentic teachings of the last and final Messenger sent by God, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
If Jesus (peace be upon him) said what you mentioned, then I totally agree with it. That's a beautiful teaching. I don't have any problem with Jesus (peace be upon him) preaching good stuff, in fact that's exactly what I would expect from any Prophet of God, and Jesus, like Moses, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, too, was a Prophet of God. So why wouldn't he preach good? :)
