Attn cat experts: Need help with my cats behavior

My cat has been doing new things lately like adding a table or 2 to jump on that are a HUGE no no, both my husbands table and mine. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to stop this behavior. Also, another new thing hes started is meowing like an hr or so before I have to get up for work. I could just kill him lol. What can I do to stop these behaviors from continuing, if anything? Thanks.
