Samsung Galaxy S5 Design: no home button and full screen cover

Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to be unveiled at end of February. The company has sent out invitations to an event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which tech industry analysts predict will be the unveiling of the Galaxy S5, the smartphone that will go head-to-head with Apple’s iPhone 6. Recently, rumor has it that the next flagship phone from Samsung could do away with the bezel as well as the home button. The home button will be replaced by two fingerprint recognition spot (lower left and right corners). Apart from it, it’s said that Galaxy S5 will be full screen cover, which means there will be nearly zero border in the left and right side. In order to make the phone thinner and screen more sensitive, the Korean smartphone manufacturer is working to reduce of layers in the screen from four to two. Then what’s this new phone’s performance? The most recently released AnTuTu benchmarks have tested two models of devices believed to be variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5, the SM-G900R4 and the SM-G900H, and have yielded some interesting results. According to the benchmark for the SM-G900R4, the device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, a QHD (2560×1400) display, 3GB mobile RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 16-megapixel main camera. This model will reportedly have corresponding model variants in several countries and on several carriers, including the four major U.S. carriers. According to the benchmark for the SM-G900H, the device features a Samsung Exynos 5422 chipset, a Full HD (1920×1080) display, 2GB mobile RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 16-megapixel main camera.
