Let me cut to the chase,I read a sentence which is "If it doesnt endure when we are tested the most",so what does it mean? Oh btw,this sentence is from HOUSE OF CARDS! BIG thanks!

The sentence is incomplete. It should be "After all, what is faith if it doesn't endure when we are tested most?"
