I was just wondering if sleepwalking is real or just a myth locked in movies and cartoons?
I haven't heard of any real incidents. Share your knowledge about this and also if anyone could give me some incidents it would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I have never sleepwalked, but I know it isn't a myth. I watched a program several years ago about people who not only sleepwalked, but some ate in their sleep and even went for jogs. Unfortunately, there was a man who was hit by a vehicle when he was sleepwalking outside.
There was even a man who claimed he sleepwalked and murdered someone (I think it was his wife). But there were some questions as to whether or not he truly was sleepwalking.
Sleepwalking is a real thing and it can be very dangerous.

it is not a myth !
Sleepwalking (also called noctambulism or
somnambulism), under the larger category
of parasomnias, is a sleep disorder where
the sufferer engages in activities that
are normally associated with wakefulness
while asleep or in a sleeplike state.

Its true, one of my sisters and one nepheu (her son) are sleepwalkers, they go to the frige or to the garden and walk around, talking on their own, nonsense talkings, and they are sleeping. When they wake up thay are very confused, but there's no accidents with them till now.
