Islam and the environment
In Islam it is very important to respect the environment. Everything that surrounds us the trees, plants, animals and on a huge scale worlds and universes are all created by Allah our creator. All these things show his greatness and it is very important for us as Muslims to respect and appreciate it all. God has created everything for a purpose everything has a purpose the trees allow us to have oxygen even things we cannot see like gravity it is to keep us on the ground. Everything was created by Allah to serve him also as a cycle everything a Muslim sees around was created to balance something else. Man is a big element in the universe even though we are quite small we have a relationship. Man has a huge relationship with the universe and it is also our duty to protect our surrounding and environment. Because it is the tree’s that allow us to breath, the meat from the animals that feed us, wood that help us build house’s and a variety of things also the rivers that bring water to our homes and communities and the list can just go on and on. All these resources were created by our creator to so these things can benefit us and also others around us. All the things that Allah has created that are absolute for our survival he has left them in our care and trust so it is very important for us to take care of them. So it is our right in Islam to use these resources to meet our needs.
