Art is a cultural practice that need to be preserved. Learning the art is worth studying. Keep up, and learn the connection between art, beauty and moral values.
Moral Values
Why do people pursue art so passionately? Well, as for me I think some might easy mental activity such as mathematics confers clear benefits to human, but why art?
People travel great distances to art exhibition and concerts. What inner sense is involved? Similarly, people around the globe put attractive pictures and painting on the walls of their homes and offices, which many of us here in wikinut have done as well. Consider music, most people like to listen to some style of music st home and in their cars. Why? Not be because music once contributed to the survival of the fittest. But art is perhaps the most inexplicable phenomenon of the human species.
Still, we all know that art and beauty is what we enjoy seeing and feel, it makes us feel "human". That is why we are human different from animals. An animal might sit on a hill and look at a colourful sky, but is it drawn to beauty and its varieties? The answer is capital No. We look at a mountain torrent shimmering in the sunshine, we stare at the dazzling diversity in a tropical rain forest for those of us that love nature, then gaze at a palm line beach, or even admire the stars sprinkled across the black velvety sky. How do you feel in all of these senerio? Often we feel awed. Beauty of that sort makes our hearts glow, our spirits soar.
This brings us to an issue of moral value. Many recognize the highest form of beauty to be fine deeds. Take for instance, being loyal to principles in the face of persecution, acting unselfishly to relieve others's suffering, and forgiving someone who hurt us are actions that appeal to the moral sense of thinking people everywhere. Hence, I found that art, beauty and moral values has everything in common.
Conclusively,
A proverb state: "The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger, and it is a beauty on his part to pass over transgression." Another proverb observes: "The desirable in earthling man is his loving-kindness."
