My name is Brandy Lee Werner LeCompte. I am a 30 year old female, married with three boys. We have shenanigans going on in this house. We live a blessed life. But it didn't happen that way immediately. I endured an abusive childhood. Sexually, mentally, physically.... and I carry those scars with me still today. I am not the only survivor of abuse out there and that is why I started this page. To this day, people ask me, "Why do you have a relationship with your mom?" I can only answer that with the fact that she is my mother. So that is a short version of my story. Everything else will be long winded and much more detailed. My hopes from this: to reach people who have to deal with the day to day results of being ruined inside by someone who was supposed to love them or be their friend. Or even by someone who was a stranger. To reach people who are afraid to make connections in real life, but need to know they aren't alone. My purpose is to save at least one life. Victims of abuse are more likely to commit suicide than any other person out there. And they are even more likely to abuse their children. So my hope and my purpose is to reach out and talk this through, even if I am talking to myself, and save a life.
