Celebrity vs THE COMMON MAN(Mango people) Its all about being positive and enjoying your common yet a unique life Would U think which life is better, perfect, relaxing- celebrities or common peoples ? why ? What are a few reasons why someone living in the spotlight (i.e. A celebrity) might want to exchange their life for a more average, normal one? What can be some psychological and emotional effects it can bring on a person?.He is one of India`s biggest superstars but Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan says it is lonely at the top and he is constantly fighting with the "feeling of emptiness".At the thinkfest conclave ,an annual event in Goa,last year mentioned that,’’ "There is something wrong in me. I sense it. I feel it but I don`t know what it is,".Now this definitely comes as a shocker , especially for those among us,who try to emulate the actors or other celebrities in every possible way and dream if we could evr lead a life like them one day,which obviously remains a dream fro most of us,courtsy our parents who are always there to get us back to real world of competeion wherin the only thing that could get you a respectable life is ‘’studies’’,a word which brings this grave look on evry student’s face as it puts an the end of their ‘chilling out’ period.The common perception is that celebrities and famous personalities have everything in life. The glossy part of being a celeb includes-Celebrities get special treatment wherever they go, Being famous generally means being richer,Many opportunities arise when people become famous, Celebrities and famous people have fans,Celebrities are recognized everywhere they go. . Being in the limelight can be very exciting at first, but after a while the novelty wears off, and the whole business becomes very frustrating.After all, the grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it? Famous people can't do things that the average person can,What do you think would happen if Paris Hilton walked down to the supermarket on a regular day? She would be mobbed and hounded for autographs and pictures. Celebrities and other famous people cannot lead lives of a normal person. They will have to live in their own little secluded world and will generally be unable to do things that the average person can. This disadvantage of being famous can stop celebrities from indulging in the little pleasures of life:-Playing ball at the neighborhood playground,Going for an uninterrupted walk, going out for a movie with your friends,Lying on the beach without being mobbed on a sunny day,Sitting on the park bench and reading a book without being asked "Can I take a picture of you?,Have a quiet dinner with family at the local restaurant.There is an ocean of a difference between the life of a Celeb and a Common man. A successful common man, well settled in life can have a better peace of mind than a Celeb.On the one hand, men natural instinct is to remain alive by keeping their name live among people always ,even after they are dead . Thus they like to become celebrities and even some try to perform abnormal activities too to get recognition. ‘’Guiness book of world records” can be the best example supporting this argument, where men have created records doing unusual, apparently difficult tasks for ages. Consequently, those who are in top position are paid high remuneration, lead extravagant life style with big houses and cars, always are surrounded by supporters amidst great jubilation. Definitely there is a charm in this kind of way of living. Opponents who posses negative view about being celebrity may show some arguments like these-there are many more careers in the world that hold much responsibilities and serves toward nation by humanitarian activities throughout their lives. Even though they are never appreciated as celebrities, they are much valuable for our society. For instance, doctor, scientific researcher, teacher, nurse etc. professionals never enlisted as celebrities but their work contributes to the society much. Additionally, experience is of much value in these professions and professionals can generally serve longer as well as earn relatively longer period. On the other hand, the major drawback of being celebrities is that competition is constant and players are tested each time they perform in their relatively short career. Continuously they are in threat to be replaced by someone younger, more energetic and more attractive one. Meanwhile a primary disadvantage of being general people is that they are never remembered long for their service and most of the time they totally disappear from society after the week of their death. Nevertheless these types of men may get satisfaction and peace in mind due to lead simple, additive-free life
