We have come a long way holding hands to this day with hearts lighted in array and so much to say In an abyss called life, i dangle from a thread with knots and a tangle with my troubled thoughts, you mingle all the while holding a candle Those days would never come back when we watched the dogs bark and recess took us through the back memories now, stowed on a rack in silence we sat alone while the sun shone and the chipmunks droned then we embrace the other's clone now, with words of a decent carve through years of weathered engrave summoning the buried clave i say 'I love you, i always have'
