ROI or Return on Investment - it's a phrase that every business owner is familiar with, and if they are not, they should be. As a business owner I am always looking for ways to make sure that my business is running as smooth and efficient as possible. In my mind I know if I am good at selling widgets, then I want to wake up every day and sell widgets. Unfortunately there are a lot more moving parts when you are the business owner and that is where having someone to walk you through the other pieces of running a business is extremely valuable. First and foremost, the last thing you want in a Norman OK business coach is someone who runs a cookie cutter business, or a one size fits all. Your business coach should be someone who gets to know you and can help you on your unique business path. Perhaps you are not good administratively, perhaps you are not good at keeping up to date on regulations in your industry, whatever it is that you feel you are lacking, having someone to help you where you are weakest is vital. Accountability is a major asset when it comes to running your own business. I will have to agree with most that being the boss and having the freedom that comes with it is amazing. However, that freedom can also lead your business to fall before it ever rises if you don't have some system of accountability. A business coach just like a sports coach can keep you accountable for the tasks at hand that you may not like to do, but have to do to run a successful business. Finally, not having to go at it alone. The term "it can be lonely at the top" isn't necessarily reserved for the Fortune 500 CEO. When all eyes are on you to solve every problem, it's nice to have someone who's outside the business there to help you problem solve.
