With working from home there are reasons to do it and not to do it, it is just a matter of personality and what you want and what works best for you. In this article though I am going to discuss the top 5 reasons to start working from home. No More Driving To Work – This would be the biggest one for me. If you start a job or business at home you won't have to drive to work anymore, think of the monthly savings you will have, if you buy less gas for your car. No Dress Code – Working at home also means the freedom to go around in sweat pants of Pjs, it really is up to you. You won't need to dress up or look your best because you are working from home! Scheduling Flexibility – With working at home most of the time you can cut out the 9-5 work day. Some companies will let you pick your own hours and others just work out something flexible for you. If you have your own online business then you can choose to work whenever you want. More Time With Your Family – Wouldn't it be nice to see your kids before they go to school and when they come home from school? Or maybe you want to have a lunch date with a loved one? Really this is possible with working at home (depending on your schedule of course) Some companies also give you a split shift, so this can usually give you some prime time to spend with your family or maybe get some chores done. Either way with being at home more often you will be around the ones you love on a daily and more constant basis. Freedom For Yourself – Perhaps you work for a call center for 8 hours a day on 2 split 4 hour shifts. Maybe 10am – 2pm and then again in the evening at 6pm – 10pm. For some people that could be yuck. But you got some morning to be with family and then the late afternoon and supper time to be with them again. By having split time between the shifts you could get errands, dinner and a few other things done. Of course not all companies offer split scheduling and some offer it on a shorter shift like 3 hours a long break then 3 more. Either way by spitting the shift you have time to get some things done before your evening shift.The reasons above are just a few of the great reasons why more and more people are trying to change their life's and be at home. A lot of people have different reasons. Some people want more time with their kids, others want to enjoy more privacy and somebody else could like the solitude of working alone. With the good though there is the bad. If you are a social butterfly or could use being away from your home on a daily basis then working from home may not be up your alley. However minds can change! I don't truly work at home myself I just spent a lot of time blogging and writing in between finding work. It is my dream though because I like working alone, want to spend time with my loved ones and would just like more me time.
