gold or silver?

Yellow gold is not silver. I thinkyou have the two confused. It should be whatever the person prefers. My engagement ring is white gold. I don't like the way yellow gold looks and if you buy a high quality diamond (even with white gold or platnium prongs) the yellow gold can cause it to look yellow. The ring we purchased for my fiance is made out of Tungsten and looks distorted because it is concave.

It should be gold studded with diamonds.

I prefer white gold. Yellow gold is very over used and if not used in moderation can look trashy. White gold seems to keep it shine longer.

For me, it doesn't matter whether my wedding ring is gold or platinum or any other kind, because the wedding ring my fiance chooses for me must be special and can symbolize his love for me. Well, my wedding band is not yellow or white gold. It's silver. It's a Irish wedding band with a emerald in the middle. My husband's is almost like mine except it's missing the emerald and his is gold.

My wedding ring, I mean the original one was yellow gold. I have now changed my taste. I keep the yellow gold one in my drawer in it's proper box. I have bought a silver one for everyday use. I like the silver one (or white gold) better.
