Mental health pertains to food that feeds the brain, exercises that keep it fit and positive environment that keeps it clean and growing. Yes you can improve the natural old age decline of functionality. You can be able to recognize your grand children until you breathe your last and go back home without much fuss. Some people archive all their books on the last day of their examinations. If they must refer to some technical information, they scan and only read the part of information for the assigned work. Well; this is not ideal. Any part of you that is not active will suffer the consequences. The following basics must be maintained: 1. Feed your brain appropriate nutrients: You need good fats, salt, and water to enable your brain to work. For an example, a thirsty person will lose vision and coordination. Your brain nerves need good nutrients this is why you have to supplement with Omega 3 and anti-oxidants. 2. Physical exercises: We are not wired to sit and do nothing. Physical exercises stimulate enzymes that support your whole wellness. For an example, have you seen a cheerful lazy person slouching on a sofa? No! Exercises are detrimental to your aging slowly. 3. Positive environment: The Creator’s constitution consists of two laws; love Him and others. If we could all understand the power of love, there would be no wars, hatred and strive. Love is central to prosperity, social and natural laws. The Creator said He has good thoughts of prosperity and health about us. His name is Love and we are created in His likeness. This means positive environment is detrimental to our general wellness. Maybe your grandmother was healthy and therefore you have no idea of what I am taking about. Well, do yourself a favor and visit the old-age home. You will surely change mind about mental health. It is your control point and if well maintained, you will have smiling people around you when you are old because you will not do anything inappropriate unintentionally.

Imagine paying a doctor when your well instead of when your sick, I think in the US things are a little backwards as far as physical and mental health goes.
