The diabetes is called diabetes mellitus is described asa group of metabolic deseases in which a person has high blood glucose. It is either because of inadequate production of insulin or body cells do not respond properly to insulin which is produced by the PANCREAS.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF DIABETES TYPE-1 and TYPE-2
MOSTLY TYPE-1 is not common. Type -2 is common.
In type-1 insulin hormone is not produced. In type-2 enough insulin is not produced.
There are two things faced by the diabetes 1- Hyperglycemia 2- Hypoglycemia
Hperglycemia means more sugar level than normal and Hypoglycemia means less sugar level than normal.
The biggest treatment of diabetes are, Exercise, controlled diet, no tension, eating less sugar, Not TO BE OVERWEIGHT.
Green vegetables are really very beneficial in diabetes.

Diabetes may be hereditary too. I have also been suffering from diabetes for the last 25 years. Ido not think that some permanent cure is there. By the regular exercise and controlled diet keeps you healthy like others. The doctors may suggest better than I.
I also take some prescribed medicines and follow the advice of doctor.Worry about it does not mend it but care counts a lot. Even the the small children have also been suffering from it.
Thanks a lot.

My dad is at risk for becoming diabetic. He is what's called pre-diabetic.
To his credit, he has been very serious lately about eating healthy and losing weight because he doesn't want to end up with diabetes. He has a friend of his who has diabetes who is going blind because of it. And he has another friend who had to have his leg amputated do to complications with diabetes.
What these two friends are going through has been enough to scare my dad to take his health very seriously.
