A quote that I like

I have learned I need to build to last forever but live like you might not be here tomorrow. I didn't think I would be here for more than 10 years so I didn't put a good sturdy roof on my house. I have been here for 16 years and have had to replace shingles every year when for a few more dollars the roof should have lasted me at least 20 years. At least I left my old roof shingles on so my roof didn't leak every time a shingle blew away.

Whatever you said is true. Do you follow the dictum?

That is a very pretty quote. I have read it before. I have always loved this one: "The first man to raise his fist is the first to run out of ideas."

This quote simply means--to me--that you should try to experience, take in and feel every moment. Don't dwell on the past or project your thoughts into the future, because the only moment you'll ever have is the moment you're living in at any given time.
