how to be a good delegator ?

I think the best ambassador is someone that seeks to understand the other person with some respect. For example, a Japanese person who stays with the custom of sitting on the floor and not a chair would respond better to an ambassador who would not tell the person that a chair is more proper? - my thoughts.
