An accident

Yesterday night when me and my friend was driving back to home from a restaurant our car hit a guy who was crossing the road. It was not our fault as the guy wasn't looking if there was traffic at the road. In the sudden rush and fear we decided not to stop the car and drove away. I got to know today that the guy is not seriously injured, but the police has registered a case and we are afraid of being charged for not stopping at the scene. Anything to say guys...???

Looks like you have landed yourself in a bit of trouble. So how have things turned out, is everything okay now? I understand that you both might have been really panicked which made you both to speed away without stopping. I happens with many people. But if the guy who got hit isn't pressing for serious charges then there won't be much problem.

Yes they did call us. We explained the situation and they did seem to understand. And in case there is any trouble, we have already consulted the http:// for assistance. They have assured us that there won't be much of a problem.
