The Political Configuration of India is now making me feel that I am actually one of those Indians who feel helpless and ridiculed on the conditions of India but cannot actually bring a change with all they have in themselves…Well, I can’t say that I have not done any politically incorrect thing ever in my life but I can assure that I have not hurt anyone by doing so…Well, the world has gone through so many changes, but Indians, not all but a few have still managed To concrete their thoughts right since the 15th century…You all might think that why am I doing this and why am I writing it..It’s just because I am fed up…Just fed up watching“Crime Patrol”and “Savdhan India”...I am in a thought that why do we see it?When I hear that this is the 3rd season of crime patrol and it’s been 10 years since CID has started and there are so many others in which the law of India is described and preached…But what have we learnt, nothing…and what have criminals learnt, new techniques to commit crime…Well, Who knows and actually who cares…and who have cared so far…
I have heard about so many rape cases, so many child sexual abuses, so many human trafficking cases that today, I feel that India is the most unsafe country in the world…Got to hear about Sarabjeet then, and felt that Politics is the only word for it…In whose hands have we ourselves given the authority? Who are the “so called” powerful people? Those who were not able to get an innocent person out of the jail of a much smaller and much less powerful country…or those who have not laid such laws which could frighten the criminals and rapists so that a child of 5 years could have not suffered…Or those who make every issue as a political issue and administrative issue just at the time of elections or those who stand in opposition but have nothing to do but just to say crap about the “Central Government”…Who is at fault and what are the reasons of such crimes and rapes? Government? So, I guess “NO”…Actually I have given it a strong thought and found that Government is not that faulty after all we are the ones who have given them the authority to rule and we are the one who have no reactions towards their irresponsible attitude..And moreover , among us are the criminals…So, who is at fault? The question still stays…So, is the society right? Rapes happen because of girls’ revealing dresses and sexy outfits…Then again I would say “NO”...Because the world is not about excuses, rather it is about realism and acceptance…So let’s accept it…A five year girl or a four year boy had nothing to reveal and invite the rapists to rape the girl and keep her in hostile and to sexually abuse the boy for an year in the toilet of the school campus…So that’s not the reason…And I feel pity at the people who think that this is the reason…Because being a human, I believe that such an excuse is an escape…an escape from a question “What is the reason?’ Well, last night I had a conversation with a friend of mine about the same thing and during the conversation I found out two important conclusions,He said that “Varun, why are we discussing about this? Forget it we can’t do anything regarding it ”We aren't the only one in the world”…So, the first reason is this that we never find time to discuss about it..We never find time to think about it…and why would we because she was not our sister, or mother,or girlfriend…But we forget to ask something to ourselves…”What if she would have been?” We always have time to say that the entire world doesn’t depend on us to stop such rapes but we forget to ask ourselves…”Aren’t we depended on the world to stop such crimes…after all we are not making an attempt”…
And what should be done? My friend asked me that “Varun What can we actually do?”and There I found the second conclusion that many of us want to take a step but we are not able to because we don’t know what has to be done…Well, not much but we just have to focus on the upcoming generation and their thoughts as we can still control that to an extent…The upbringing plays a role, as it’s important to judge right and wrong because that makes us go towards the right decision…All, I would say is that just don’t see things going but learn through them…Respect women…And just see them with love and respect, not with lust and dishonor.
