Writing online and talking to people who speak the language is the best way to truly learn how to acquire a language. The people on here will help you correct your language if you need that assistance. Instead of "English is not familiar with," you could have said, "English is not my first language; however, I understand much of it, and I feel confident enough to hold a conversation with others in this language." Do you see what I did there? Spanish is not my first language; although I know enough of it to hold a conversation with other people that speak it, and I will listen to people speak it in order to truly understand what they are saying and how to say it.
