I still remember how you made me feel. I can smile about it. I can't help but smile about it. That is how I know I loved you. That I love you. I cannot lose something I never had, but there was still an ache. It hurt me to hear that you were with her. I was selfish for a moment. Now I know I don't need you with me. As long as you are loved I will be happy. You will always be special to me. Go in peace, my friend. Still, I remember you and smile.

I remember your hugs and kisses,
your warm embrace,
the way you made me feel,
with your good grace.
Think of me when your gone,
and love the memories we shared,
never forget what we were,
and remember when I cared.
I still care, but not as I once did,
you're now far away,
and I am left to think of all we had,
and why you didn't stay?
Remember me because I will remember you
I will remember us together,
all of the times we had,
and think of you forever.
