Things like candy bars, sodas, fasts food like burgers and fries, and pizza are foods that most Americans enjoy to eat, but too much of a good thing, well, can lead to a lot of bad things like weight gain, heart disease, and diabetes, which is why doctors recommend eating vegetables. Besides eating vegetables for health reasons, there are other reasons to do it.
Vegetables Taste Good
Besides making your skin look great, and nourishing your body, why Americans should include more vegetables in their diet is because they taste good. Honey glazed carrots, cucumber salad, baked potato, and vegetable lasagna are vegetables that make your taste buds sing. There are literally dozens of different kinds of vegetables and just as many different ways to prepare them just look at cookbooks chalk full of recipes for how to cook vegetables.
Help Save You Money
Why Americans should include more vegetables in their diet is because eating vegetables can save you money. Having a meatless dinner once or twice a week can be a great way to stretch economically. You can buy vegetables only when they are in season to save you more money, or you can grow your own vegetable. Buying vegetables seeds does not have to cost that much if you shop at chain stores like Walgreens.
Good Eating Habits
Another reason why Americans should include more vegetables in their diet is to instill good eating habits for themselves and their children. There are just too many health benefits to eating vegetables, and to completely ignore those benefits could create more health problems for Americans. Already there is a problem of obesity in American, and to not take action and be proactive in making sure you do everything possible to stay healthy and strong is wrong.
Nice Body
Why Americans should include more vegetables in their diet, is that a healthy diet coupled with exercise will give you a nice body. You will have a flat stomach, muscle tone, you will reach your target weight, and won't be out of breath just walking down the street. Eating a salad for lunch, and snacking on celery with peanut butter can be ways to include vegetables in your diet and start a healthier lifestyle.
And one the of growing cuisines in popularity is Asian, which includes tons of vegetables. Expand your diet to include Asian food and you’ll start to feel and look better: shanghaitokyodiner.com

How do you think that vegetables are harvested? They MAY be somewhat more water efficient but harvesting is still very inefficient unless you use many workers.

@bitoinerbob I do not have a large vegetable garden, so I usually harvest it alone or with my family, and it does not require many workers. It would be more efficient. My vegetables taste more fresh vegetables, crisp, and tasty as cooked immediately after being picked. Here is a photo for you
