Loktak Lake is the only freshwater lake in North East India.It is located in Manipur.This lake is the only floating lake in the world because of its floating Phumdis. Phumdis are a part of thick grasses and soil accumulated over a period of time that float over the water.If you travel Manipur you must reached Loktak lake ,you can get its natural beauty.
