where will my career go

so far,i've been working as a java developer for almost five years,it seems i run into a bottleneck,i have no idea where is my career going,last week,i was failed to pass an interview,sad thing,i see my skill doesn't meet the recruiter's requirments,as a web developer,we have to learn loads of new skills constantly,the technique renew quite fast,i'm really not sure i can catch up the pace of the upgrade along with i get older,perhaps i'm worried too much,but the bottom line is my goal seems to be vague recently.
