What are Furries? Why are they what they are?

Well, I want to start a topic on the Furry ideal since most people that know me don't really understand what that truly is. The stereotypical furry is when a person dresses as animal and have orgy parties in various enclosed places such as the woods or some random place at night where it's only them and whatnot.. there are also the sterotypical thoughts of beastialty which i will explain in a bit about but mostly ... no furry people do NOT go @ it with your cat or dog. They may say they're beautiful creatures or cool pets, but don't mix this up with a furry's sexual identity or taste. :D Now, in my opinion as a furry myself, I want to firstly say that it is not a mental illness or some sort of crazy thought that they are an animal. For me, this is a hobby and I like to be considered as a (cat) for most of the time especially when I use the internet 90% of my time... I started to figure out that I was a cat when I played WoW, I was a druid and loved playing as a feral kitty - my character name still today is within my heart and she has her own story for roleplay, etc etc. Furries to me are people that have another character besides them as a human.. or they can be a mix such as a Centaur for a very common mythological creature that are anthropods (or however that is spelt). For me, I can shapeshift and turn into a cat or even as a humancat-like being. I usually draw furry type of pictures of my character so it's not weird.. There are also furry communities online... and also furry porn... now I warn you if you want to look up furry communities please just look up the roleplay section instead.. There are mostly art / stories of furry stuff but if this creeps you out and most of this made you want to puke out your lunch then I suggest to stop reading and continue to another topic. Anyways... YEAH! GO FURRIES!
