Just having a cat as a pet isn't enough.You must do all you can to ensure that you have a happy pet.By providing food,water and shelter,you do not necessarily become a kind owner.Understanding your feline friends and their needs is of utmost importance for becoming an ideal feline owner. NEEDS OF OUR FELINES: -Companionship:- Almost no cat want to live alone,without a feline companion.They need company and interaction with,at least one other cat.Playing alone is not so much fun as playing with congener. -Accomodation:- cats prefer living on different levels,unlike human beings,who live at one level only.It's important to give cats more place to move in their surrounding easily.Cats get relieved iif they sit alone for sometime. -Hygiene:- cats are usually very clean animals.They cleanse themselves regularly by licking themselves and as their tongue is somewhat coarse and rugged,it acts like a file paper. -Health:- Regular vaccinations and health checks at the vet should be granted.Remember,that you can get a lot of miicrobes and bacilli from outside,onto your home,which can affect your cat.Remember-Only a healthy cat,can be a happy cat !!
