They say that Life is short and one should live its life to the fullest because you'll never know.. and ofcourse, YOLO. But, some also say that patience is a virtue. That we should not rush things in life because we've got a long way ahead of us. I like qoutes and sayings that can teach us about life and I could share to my friends, may it be to inspire them or simply to cheer them up in times of sadness. But I don't get it. Quite confused with this two actually. It's obvious they conflict each other, and when I want to give advice I don't want to seem confusing. What do you think?

Just my opinion, but i think it's all depends on the situation whether which advice to give. Both concepts aren't wrong but they aren't right all of the time as well, sometimes its better to be patient but also while waiting you might miss an opportunity. Maybe you should first consider the variables to their problem before deciding what advice to give, listen first then decide what is the right course of action it is that they should take. But the main point is that you just have to leave it to them to decide and support them in any way you can. Again, it's just my opinion

Sayings are contradicting. I suppose we could not be in a rush but take joy in every opportunity to live a good life.
