In my opinion, man does not have peace because of many desires only. The real peace lies in moderating desires not in satisfying desires. According to me the desires are permanently pregnant because when one desire fulfills a new desire is born from the womb of last desire. To satisfy desire means satisfying the body never the soul. THERE ARE TWO TRAGEDIES IN LIFE--ONE IS NOT TO GET YOUR HEART'S DESIRE AND THE OTHER IS TO GET IT. Our desire remain incomplete and unsatisfied even after death.This means man is not in peace even after his death because of desires. Why do we desire so much that our soul does not rest in peace because of desires only?
