Thanks.

It is true how we take life. Our perspective towards life leads us to our goal. If we see positivity in things, we lead our life successfully. Sadness and happiness are the two sides of coins, there cannot be happiness without sadness, therefore cannot be darkness without light. Life is like a river which flows and flows and we need to keep pace with it.

Your this understanding can be classified as a kind of emotional thinking, because it is a sense of self —— as long as I think of it, it does not care about the opinions of others. However, this will also cause others don't care if you exist. And rational thinking, it will consider the views of others, so it will bring life into several categories. Of course. Everyone to pursue what way of life goal, this is their freedom.

Everyone would have their own definition or view on what life is. Happiness and morality, they are straightforwardly construed as accounts of which final ends a person ought to realize in order to have a life that matters. In other words life is what you make it, there will always be two sides of coin like dpk262006 said, a yin and a yang if you will.

Obviously your this understanding is also a kind of emotional thinking. From a rational point of view, life is only two outcomes.
