Music From the Streets

I had my first gig indoors at the department store I work at. It was kinda ridiculous how this wannabe manager threw this circus together. He had a vision of battling dj's and a dance floor and puppies and kitties being adopted and a Santa Claus... It was a silly idea for a sale that no one really came to!
Now that my rant is done about that, I'm working on getting more gigs inside. That didn't seem as personable as playing the street corner.
What are some ideas to get a venue on my list?

As satire this is appalling. As licence for governing misogynistic media narratives it's pretty generic. I'd suggest the author gets over himself and allows subversive mainstream texts to carry meaning.
