Does adding comments to my started discussions also increase my earning?

yes adding comment in discussions can gain money but thanks commenting to every discussion can't gain money...see more for mylot guideline...

No, again. You do not get money for commenting to your own discussion started. However, I agree with do not respond to every poster with a thank you. It gets annoying and a waste of space on myLot.

You can also get credit for commenting on One (and only one) comment on someone else's posting.

No, your comment added to your own subject does not earn you money. However, responding with quality comments to those that respond, you are more likely to get the person to enjoy talking with you, become friends, have a great conversation...while it also brings your topic back to the top for others to get a chance to post on.
