Light problems

IT seems like when one light is having problems I get a lot of other ones. First a light blub went out in the office, then my daughter's car lights would not go out. Next it was the light fixture over the stove. It keep blowing out light blubs. After that it was the dryer's light but when I went to take it out it came back on. I think not too long ago I changed the refrigerator light so that shouldn't go out. Still have to get the light in the hallway to come on when I turn the light switch on. The light switch at the top of the stairs will work and it will turn off at the bottom but will not come on when trying to get it to come on at the bottom of the stairs. Anyone else have problems like this all at once in certain areas. How about when one vehicle has a break down the rest follow?
