Disadvantages of facebook

Right now i find it distasteful to be on facebook at times, when i see the many degrading photos that are allowed to be published on the site.And why is it that young children find themselves victims to such acts, could you imagine yourself as a parents hearing other people talking about some photo of your child on facebook, and how she posed and what she wearing but you at the time didn't know it was your child at the time and had a mouthful to say? And then we you really follow up on the issue you get to realized that it was your own child that was being talked about? What reaction would you have then as the parent? What would you do on a hold?
