Sadly, some people work very hard, and never seem to get ahead. Some jobs don't pay a living wage. Welcome to myLot..

Welcome to MyLot! It's pretty easy to post things and read other posts on this site. Personally, I like to share my opinions on current events along with discussions about things that I enjoy. Recently, I started to share posts from my Facebook page: It'sCooltobeKind Campaign! It contains daily posts of thoughts and quotes on a scenic backgrounds and about people who commit acts of kindness. (I have included one of my posts.) It is my intent to help to spread the idea of commiting random acts of kindness. The only reward that I want from my efforts of my kindness campaign is for people to take a moment to be kind to others. There is a lot of conflict and hatred in the world. We could all use a little kindness! Enjoy your time here in our "little" community!

It is true that hard work always pays. Fruit of hard work are worth it, even if you get those fruits at a later stage. We should not shy away from doing hard work. Hard work is key to success for every person, who has achieved something in his life.

Luck should also be added to hard work. The labourers work hard day and night but get only bread at last. Some persons who are born with silver spoon in their mouth, get everything without any struggle. Thanks.

A very good point of view and attitude to have. I have found that if one is not careful, laziness and sloth can creep in and destroy (or at least diminish) one's desire and ability to work hard. Diligence is the key to guarding against this. So many people these days are going into universities and thinking that taking a few classes here and there will lead to a pile of money falling from the sky, and landing on their doorstep. What foolishness! I am of the belief that more young people should enter trade schools, and they would be better off acquiring a skill that is better used in today's working world.
