CHOLESTEROL IS THE MOST DISCUSSED WORD TODAY, GOOD OR BAD

Cholesterol is a substance which is produced by liver inside our body. Cholesterol is located in blood stream, is necessary for our body.it helps build and maintain cell membranes and very useful for hormone production.Its molecular formula is C27H46O. As too much of anything is bad even so too much cholesterol is bad. This substance is found in any animal fats, and oils, as egg yolk and milk.Mainly there are 2 types of cholesterol 1-LDL 2- HDL LDL is supposed a bad cholesterol and HDL is supposed a good cholesterol. By using fiber food we can lower the levels of bad cholesterol as oatmeal or oat bran which contain fiber. Walnuts and almonds can help because these polyunsaturated fatty acids and help to maintain healthy blood vessels. Olive oil contains antioxidants and lowers the level of LDL. Extra weight of our body has negative effect of HDL in blood. Our body makes cholesterol and we also get it when we eat eggs, meats, and dairy products. When we take these things more than our body needs, it can cause plaque to build up in our arteries. This thick and hard plaque can clog our arteries like a blocked pipe and can cause heart attack. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. I AM WRITING THIS POST TO ALERT THE PEOPLE AND TO GIVE A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHOLESTEROL ACCORDING TO MY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE TO AWARE THE PEOPLE ONLY.

Thanks for this article.. We need to find ways to get the good cholesterol and stay healthy. I use some food supplements from gnld.com that have helped me to stay much healthier than I was before. Also choosing the right food is important..

@tinaadr Thanks a lot for giving some more information. We really need to be more aware about our health instead of going from one doctor to another. Some yoga exercises also keep the doctors away, Health is not only wealth but life.

@sunilmishra7756 - There is so much in the nature that can help us. I am happy I found the coconut oil, keeps the heart an bloodvessels healthy. Fresh coconut must be even healthier..

Maybe you should not emphasized on the importance of cholesterol. A good friend, who is a retired doctor now (this guy is bright and has also 2 other Phds) told me that looking only at cholesterol to cure somebody would result in a diagnostic error, but that cholesterol was a too good cash cow for pharmaceutical labs and doctors to kill it today. You have not to search long to find online sites made by scientists (look at the members list) about cholesterol like this one : I am not a doctor, and I have no real opinion about it.
