Usually the information is widely available across the immigration websites, But let me share some knowledge I acquired personally while trying to obtain the visa. There are lots of dependencies involved to get into the land of Maples, even though those are achievable,Its hard to keep our spirits high for a long time:)
In short, its a point based system, but as the new express entry is introduced, it gives a faded chance of getting visa who are not having a job offer or having a provincial nomination. But wait - not to be discouraged! Lets all wait together for the minimum points to be brought down from 850s (as per the info on CIC site- based on January 31st draw) by the CIC.
As everyone aware of:
IELTS
Educational Credential Assessment
Experience in the any of the skilled occupation
Funds to show are the broaden areas of ranking..
The process is easy:
Take IELTS exam
Get ECA done for your qualification
Submit your profile for express entry
Once we submit, the system generates the points and guide us for Job bank registration
Job bank registration enables us to show case our skill sets, qualification and experience to potential employers and grab an opportunity
Either way we may get an invite for applying the PR, either we need a job offer or we need to have good points that comes within the range that CIC is selecting in each draws (even though its tough to be in that range without a job offer!)
Once we get the invite we can apply with hard copy of all proofs to CIC
then wait..wait..wait...(as per CIC its 3-6 months) till we get invite for medicals and police clearance and request for passport.
