What did you give/receive on Valentine's day????

Well to begin with, throughout the year I ramble about how useless and idiotic type of day this Valentine's day is but I know in few cultures it is celebrated with glory. Basically, Valentine's day to me (as I'm now a bit mature) is about feeling thankful for the person in your life whom you love and he/she loves you back. Here in India, people think that this day is kind of a "Lover's day". But the first thing I do in the morning of V-day is I wish my parents a happy valentine's day (and this year I even cooked for them). But, yeah, many of us happen to have a "special someone" in our lives for whom we dedicate this whole day. I too have one. We are in a long distance relationship. And this year I didn't manage to get him any gift or so. So I thought of writing to him a letter. And trust me it took me 7 days just to come up with few things that I wanted to say to him. Since, he is the one for me and he makes my life very special, I thought of dedicating the whole letter just to him and I wrote about how he has lightened up my life in various ways. And I ended it with the very famous "Ever thine-ever mine- ever ours- quote. The letter was just about him. Nothing about "us". Because to me its love......its all about the better half of yours that gives you sooooo much strength and I dedicated that whole day just to "HIM". He gave a sweet reply by saying that it was the best thing I could have given to him :). He is a cutie. And what I received????? I have got him back in my life and by God's grace everything is going perfectly. What more could I ask from him. He loves me. Thats all. So, enough about me!
