I think he was born a genius but he was probably encouraged to develop his mind as well. I believe that he was an odd child and didn't talk until he was 3, so he was undoubtedly born 'special'. Early education is equally important, however, so I'm sure that was a factor.
I don't think anyone can be MADE a genius. They have the capability from birth but whether it develops depends very much on the parents and the child's development.

interesting , my baby sister was born 11 weeks premature nd never cried until she was 3 monthes old at 1st the doctors were wondering if she had some brain damage from being born so early. she hardly ever made a soun and t 9 monthes started makeing hand gestures ,she taught the whole family her own kind of sign language for over two years then suddenly started speaking short sentences 4 monthes after her 2nd birthday. just when we thought she would never speak now she never stops talking and speaks english and japanese fluently at almost 4 years old ,i think she is bright and found what you said bout einstein being a odd child who didnt speakinteresting as we think the same about her in the most pleasent way tho =)

I don't think anyone can be MADE a genius. They have the capability from birth but whether it develops depends very much on the parents and the child's development and I also feel almost everyone has got the same level of intelligence or the IQ , its just how you tune ur brain thruout ur life is what that makes the difference look so wider I guess!!!
