Any Idea how to check the quality of recycled golf balls?

Guys I'm asking this for my cousin. He with his friends are planning to start a camp for kids by next month. He is thinking of including golfing along with other sports and since the equipments are costing too much, for now he has the clubs on rentals. Balls needed to be bought and he is thinking of buying premium recycled golf balls from services like Found Golf Balls . How can one test the quality of these balls, aren't they lost and found, might be old ones?? Any input on this would be appreciated. Thanks!!
