New Member: Addendum To My Bio

I just signed up a few minutes ago and even though I posted a blurb in my Bio section, I wanted to make my first post an expansion of it so that I can include my reasons for signing up with MyLot. As I mentioned in my bio, I am an aspiring content writer. By 'aspiring' I mean that I am just starting out in the field. There may be many courses and blogs on how to be an article writer, but the best way to learn anything is through trial and error. To just jump in and do it. That way you can find where your weakness are and strengthen them. This is where MyLot comes in. There are a wide variety of topics here that will be very helpful to my growth as a writer. Not only will I be able to improve my skills but I will be able to open up my field of interests, thereby expanding on my general knowledge on a variety of subjects. Doing and learning are not my only objectives here, though. I am also looking to meet other writers, both seasoned professionals and newbies alike to network with and learn from, so if you are one or the other and you happen to come across me on MyLot, feel free to connect with me- it would be great to interact with and learn from you!
