Preparations for the Startup of Beijing International Cycle Expo 2015 and Cycling Festival

Beijing International Cycle Expo and Beijing Cycling Festival is China’s largest cycling festival and cycle expo based in Beijing jointly created by China Bicycle Association and HAOSI International. It focuses on professional high-end brands, reflecting cutting-edge technology of the industry, promoting trade, exchanges and cooperation, developing northern dealers’ service platform, the cycle industry and the environment-friendly cycle culture. At the same time, it centers on the development of the northern market and characteristic and efficient brand expo relying on unique advantages in resources and cycling heritage in Beijing and Yanqing. Beginning from 2014, the Expo and Festival will be held in Beijing every year. Successfully held in Yanqing BaDaLing International Exhibition Center, Beijing International Cycle Expo 2014 and Cycling Festival covered an area of 10,000 m2 and attracted nearly a hundred exhibitors, and northern dealers from key cities and over 10,000 visitors. Characterized by its profession and features, this Expo and Festival drew great attention and created a new professional cycle exhibition platform centering on the north and serving China. On the basis of the previous International Cycle Expo and Cycling Festival, Beijing International Cycle Expo 2015 and the 4th Beijing Cycling Festival will enhance to a new level and promote its brand awareness and influence further, which will make it the largest cycling festival and expo in China. It is reported that Beijing Expo 2015 will be held in the same place, Beijing BaDaLing International Exhibition Center, in June 26-28(26th to trade visitors,27th-28th to public visitors). It will cover an area of 30,000 m2 next year including the present exhibition halls, Hall A and Hall B and new sections, Hall C1, Hall C4, the conference center, outdoor exhibition halls and activity area. In particular, Beijing Expo 2015 will be held with the 5th Beijing International Cycling Tour Convention which will make this expo worth the name of the largest cycling festival and expo in China attracting 6,000 professional cycling enthusiasts from the Cycling Tour Convention, 2,500 northern dealers and 10 hot events during the exhibition. It’s also learnt that the expo 2015 will mainly focus on establishing a service platform for northern dealers and establishing workstations for 17 key cities in the North, serving northern dealers, and make it possible for manufactures and dealers to do business comprehensively all year around through the online exhibition platforms, the official website and Wechat so as to achieve integration and daily interaction of cyclists, develop business development space, promote the cycle culture environment, and create a green and harmonious ecological cycling circle. Meanwhile, this expo will highlight its culture. The host place, Beijing Yanqing, has vigorously promoted bicycling in recent years and put forward the slogan of developing Yanqing into “China’s top cycling county”.With its splendid scenery and roads and terrain suitable for cycling, Yanqing has become the national cycling center. With its unique geographical conditions, Yanqing is the heaven for cycling and wins exceptional advantages to bid for 2022 Winter Olympic Games. The two major Olympic competition events alpine skiing and luge and bobsleigh are expected to be held in Yanqing. Meanwhile, this expo and cycling festival Organizing Committee will join hands with Beijing Olympic City Promotion Association and sponsor series activities centering on “Green Travel” and “Assisting Olympic Biding” to support Winter Olympics, and promote and popularize the green travel culture.
