NO I FEEL THEY MAY NOT BE HAPPY AS THE DO NOT GET NATURAL LIFE AND CIRCUMSTANCES AND ON TOP OF IT THEY ARE HARRASSED BY PEOPLE.

Well it all depends on where they were born. I think the ones born in captivity well they don't know anything else but the cages and people around them all the time. But the ones that were caught and forced into captivity then no I do not think they are happy they miss there home, their freedom,their peace and quiet, and they miss everything they ever knew. And know they are locked up in a cage being stared at by people that probably frighten them. I have been to the zoo many times and I have always felt sorry for all the animals..well except the snakes..lol they can keep them. I know alot of them are probably healthier and get fed more often then they would if they were in the wild and they are safe from poachers and hunters but I bet each of those animals as they lie down to sleep at night remembers how it used to be and misses it terriably.

anyone either animal or human never cant be happy in prison or zoo... freedom is great feeling for everyone dont you think.. have a nice time..

I think it depends on the zoo. Some enclosures may be too small and not very similar to the animal's natural habitat. In other cases, the habitats are fantastic and the animals are very well cared for.

I'd say the San Diego Wild Animal Park in California did a very nice job on their habitats. I've also heard some lectures by their animal caretakers and they seem to have a very good method of running things there. I had a hard time reading your comment due to the chatspeak. Keep in mind that several people on this site could have reading difficulties or might even read English as a second language. It might take a little longer to type out full sentences and words, but it takes the next person longer to understand your post because you did not type out your words completely. Thanks!

Will any of us be happy inside a jail?? Never...Likewise animals can be never be happy if they are kept inside cages and displayed for human being's entertainment.
