I never really liked cats. They're cute when they're kittens but after that I don't like them for many reasons. I think that dogs are better. They're protective, smart, energetic, etc. I love dogs!

I think both can be great animals. It depends on what you want your animal for really. If you just want a cuddly animal with little work go for a cat. They are self sufficient and incredibly lovable. If you want a high energy animal that will play with you and cuddle with you get a puppy.
