I'm clutching at the straws of love
You're slipping away from me
Drifting, drifting
The waves of familiarity
Push you away from me
I stand here on the shore
Hoping the same wave
Will bring you back to me
The cruel waves
Taunting me with glimmers of hope
Here I am, still waiting
Waiting
And there you are, drifting
Drifting.
